UK: Son of Sex Pistols manager burns punk memorabilia worth £5m

Son of former Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren Joe Corre and his mother, fashion designer Vivienne Westwood, arrived at Cadogan Pier, in London, on Saturday, to burn £5 million (€ ) worth of punk music memorabilia and mark the 40th anniversary of the release of the Sex Pistol’s song ’Anarchy in the UK.’ Speaking from the boat, Corre welcomed the viewing public to “the great punk rock swindle, a time when you can buy McDonald’s punky-nuggets and [an] ’Anarchy in the UK’ credit card.“ Video ID: 20
