Opening of Ukraine ports doesn’t make Africa food supplies less vulnerable

While France and Romania have reached a deal which allows them to facilitate increased Ukrainian grain exports to Mediterranean countries, the food security situation in Africa is dire, the UN warns, with only 30% of the Ukrainian grain having been supplied to low- and middle-income countries in Africa.
