Full title reads: “Meaux. On 18th Anniversary of the Battle of the Marne. Mr Walter Edge - American Ambassador - presents noble Battlefield Memorial - gift of the American Nation.“ Meaux, France. C/U American stars and stripes flags and the French tricolour fly together. Dissolve to large stone statue. A crowd is gathered around the base of the war memorial of which the statue is part. Tilt up the statue. Camera holds on the face of the female figure. A military bands plays the French and American national anthems. Soldiers stand to attention in ranks. C/U of some of the soldiers.
