This wonderful short film is a romanticised take on the greatest tragedy in Brazilian football history: the 2-1 defeat of Brazil to Uruguay in the final of the 1950 World Cup. The film was made by Paulo Perdigão (1939-2006), who was also the author of the fantastic book Anatomy of a Defeat, about the 1950 World Cup.
