Roger Federer came back to Rotterdam for the first time since winning the tournament 7 years ago. The tournament got a visitors record on its day. Fed is already through to the quarter-finals on Friday because of an injury by Mikhail Youzhny. He’ll play Jarkko Nieminen next. Because many people had already bought tickets on Thursday to watch Fed, he’ll play a super-tiebreak against Dutch player Igor Sijsling on that evening.
