In the past, she’s undergone surgery to remove them - but each time, they have grown back. Now, with her largest tumour weighing 10kg, she is unable to work, and can only walk very short distances. Lasiyem is very grateful to her sister, who lives with her and takes good care of her. She also has a lot of friends in the area who often visit her, and receives regular check-ups from a local nurse. As some of her wounds cause mild infections, Lasiyem is prone to fevers, for which she is given medicine and vitamins. However, the most life-changing thing would be surgery.
