Kurt Elling with two long-time musical colleagues; pianist, Laurence Hobgood, and guitarist, John McLean. This was the first song of the performance, “Samurai Cowboy,“ Kurt’s vocalese reworking of a composition by Marc Johnson called “Samurai Hee-Haw“ on April 15, 2011 in the KPLU Seattle Studios.
