Buran Transport by VM-T Atlant

An unassembled main part of the soviet’s space shuttle Buran, being transported by the Myasishchev VM-T Atlant, adapted to transport the shuttle before the building of the An 225 Mriya. Loaded by the crane PKU-50, Buran could fly in the Atlant to the cosmodrome Baikonur. The Buran vertical stabilizer was removed due to reduce weight, and the VM-T stabilizer was modified to a dual drift stabilizer (like in the An 225) because the Buran hides the original one.
