Austria: Several arrested as anti-lockdown protesters and police clash in Vienna

Protesters could be seen clashing with officers while trying to break through a barricade set up by police to keep the group apart from a counter-demonstration nearby. Demonstrators at the so-called ’The Mother of All Demos’ were calling for the easing of the lockdown measures, which at the moment include the closures of all entertainment facilities and a ’stay-at-home’ order from 20:00 to 06:00 (18:00 to 04:00 GMT) ​the following morning. According to the police, around 400 people gathered in the rally at the Schweizergarten park before the clashes broke out.
