Titles read: ’On the Air - in the Air! With Jack Hylton And His Band. Over now, to Croydon, to join Jack and the boys just off to broadcast their airs from the air!’. Croydon, Surrey. The band are seen playing on the boarding steps of large, four engine, biplane airliner. The name ’Heracles - Imperial Airways’ can be seen on nose of airliner (registration number is G - AAXC). Intertitle reads: ’Meanwhile, at the Post Office Exhibition in the Strand, the audience is waiting.’ Cut to exterior of the Post Office Exhibition in the Strand with passers by. Then Jack Hylton and the band are seen boarding airliner, still playing their instruments. After seeing a technician adjusting large radio receiver / transmitter and music ending, there follows an excellent sequence of the airliner taxiing and taking off. The ’Royal Mail’ crest is clearly seen. After shots of the plane in the air and ground to air views of countryside, cut to interior of cabin where a man sitting beside Jack Hylton says “Callin
