Paris Dances (1939)

Titles read: “PARIS DANCES“. Paris, France. At the Bal Tabarin nightclub we see a troupe of dancing girls performing the cancan on a raised dance floor / stage, ending in the splits. The audience sits around watching. Male and female dancers in fancy dress / mardi gras costumes come on to do their routines. The dancing girls reappear in skimpy costumes decorated with long, spiky feathers to do a slinky number with lots of hip waggling and leg kicking - great shots of the showgirls in this number - we are actually on the dance floor with them. An acrobatic routine finishes the show. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
