Queen Alexandra Reviews Troops (1910-1919)

Queen Alexandra reviews troops. Location of events unknown - probably London. British troops march on road through park w/ bare trees (could be Green Park or St James’s Park - SL). Queen Alexandra; accompanied by a boy of about 12 (see note below) and various military officers and another man & woman - all walking spread apart from each other across some big open space. Then shot of Queen A, the lady & boy together in FG; w/ men talking in small groups behind them (seems to be in courtyard of Buckingham Palace? - SL). Military band marching past. Soldiers march past single file; carrying flags; very near Queen A. & boy. Note: there is a very slim chance that the teenage boy with Queen Alexandra could be her grandson Prince John, who died in 1919 aged 15. Shots are rather dark, so hard to tell - does anyone know? Queen Alexandra was very fond of her grandson and was oblivious to the fact that he was an outcast in society due to his epilepsy. SL. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPL
