The Viking ship Lofotr is a replica of the Gokstad ship. The Gokstad ship is a ship from the end of the 800’s, excavated in the summer of 1880 at the farm Gokstad in Sandefjord, Norway. Lofotr is built in the barn of the parsonage of Borg Vestvågøy, Norway and issued out of a boat building courses funded by the Labour Administration and Vestvågøy municipality in the period 1991-1992.
