Full title reads: “SAVED FROM THE DEEP! - The Pathe Gazette is proud to present a dramatic “news“ picture - but rarely obtained - of an actual rescue at sea.“ Unknown, presumably United States of America. Scenes from aboard Coast Guard rescue ship as it approaches a damaged trawler at the stormy sea. Huge waves, men working with ropes onboard the rescue ship, strong wind. Rescue ship is getting closer to the helpless trawler. Men handling the towing line as they approach the trawler. Trawler floating helplessly at sea.
