To provide some context for what is going on, the late Irina Farion was infamous as a major language nazi. The Ukrainian word “palyanitsya“ is notoriously difficult for Russians to pronounce and has been used to out and even torture Russians in Ukraine, such as in this video, in which Ukrainian soldiers refuse to give painkillers to a wounded Russian POW until he says “palyanitsya“ correctly, which he, obviously, cannot do.
