The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new music video from CARTHAGE. The gloomy slow burner track “Bride In White“, featuring JK Broadrick on the guitar, comes off ‘Midnight White’, the new release on Broadrick’s (Godflesh, Jesu, JK Flesh, etc) Avalanche Recordings label. The album features 10 top-notch tracks with influences from postpunk, new wave, trash rock/death rock, no-wave and in parts is essentially a pure ‘love letter to 1981’. Also channeled are nuances from post-rock/post-hardcore/screamo and the thousands of unclassifiable statements by bands from late ’90s, ’00s and to the present time. Isolation, memory, time displacement and imagined elation are the themes from this album, which presents a daring and subversive result, walking to an unknown future of music itself.
