Gravity Falls - Epic Orchestral Cover

Support me on Ko-fi 💛 - “The Universe is a Hologram“ Gravity Falls is an American animated mystery comedy television series created by Alex Hirsch for Disney Channel and Disney XD. The series ran from June 15, 2012, to February 15, 2016. The “Gravity Falls Main Title Theme,“ composed by Brad Breeck, is the opening theme song played over the title sequence to the show. Arranging this orchestral cover was certainly a bit of a doozy since I kept on reworking a lot of parts. I thought to myself “How could I add more goosebumps in the most epic way possible?“. Well, three things to be exact, which are the following (Third one might be more satirical). 1. Include motifs from the original soundtrack of Gravity Falls aside from the opening theme. 2. Add references to the variations of said opening theme. 3. 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙣𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙢 𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙧𝙤𝙮𝙪𝙠𝙞 𝙎𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙤, 𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙣𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙎𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙠. [SPOILERS] Composition Transcript: Misairu’s Orchestral Forces have decided to begin the composition with synths, sounding more alien like, as if it was not part of this world. The atmosphere builds up the suspense as a distant choir shows signs of an incoming climax. “Trust no one“ The orchestra suddenly roars with tremendous magnitude, performing the motifs of what’s to come. The synths return with a mellower tone, accompanied by the strings. They then change key, to give a slightly more uplifting tone. Glockenspiels play the motif once more before a piano readies and signals the orchestra for a large entrance. A flurry of instruments arrive with thunderous force including electric guitars, horns, strings, taiko drums, and a choir. They are then followed by a solo guitarist accompanied by more strings and brass before the next movement. A deep choir sings the motif before being silenced by a low boom, and the arrival of synths. A new theme is heard, the theme of the yellow triangle himself. A small section of the orchestra follows, performing a dark, and mischievous theme. What comes is a slow and deep return to the original motif lead by horns. Suddenly the key changes again, uplifting the spirits of those who listen as if the sun began shining again. The choir sings with much velocity. They are once again silenced but this time by a piano progressively playing faster. With an entrance of synths and strings, it is clear there is a build up to something. Then the finale arrives. The thunder of the instruments are once again made known with one last movement featuring everyone. Which ends with an extremely strong choir chant and synths playing the final motif.
