Gerry Mulligan Meets Ben Webster

From November 3 till December 2, 1960 Gerry Mulligan, Ben Webster and their band, Mel Lewis, Jimmy Rowles, and Leroy Vinnegar, went into the studio to record what would become the album “Gerry Mulligan Meets Ben Webster.“ On December 9 a well-practiced Mulligan, Webster and band appeared on the Dinah Shore Chevy Show. This is the performance of those two sax legends!
