The “Easter Island” weekend home is an important building not just in Kaltene, but also at the global level. This project, designed by architect Zaiga Gaile, is clearly one of the great jewels of Latvian architecture, as noted by many foreign professionals who have given the building architectural awards. The story of the home is special not just because of its basic idea and its location – on a man-made island in the Bay of Rīga – but also because of the collection of design objects that you will find inside the building. “Easter Island” is currently up for sale and can be viewed on a new homepage that we at !MOOZ have set up in partnership with the BURZUM digital agency.
