Коммунисты мальчишку поймали - Russian Anti Soviet Song

This song originates in the early 1970’s, when the KGB began suppressing human rights groups in the USSR, the so-called samizdat publications, most important to this song the “Chronicle of Current Events“ whose publisher, Anatoly Yakobson was forced to emigrate to Israel under pressure from the KGB. The song was written by a Nikolai Williams, who wrote it on a winter night, basing it probably off Yakobson’s story, with a satirical twist. The song was first published in the 1980s in the Parisian magazine “Continent“ but was famous even before, it gained popularity after the fall of the Soviet Union especially, the version in this video is from the Russian band “Akvarium“ Lyrics: Коммунисты мальчишку поймали, Потащили его в КГБ. Ты откройся, кто дал тебе книгу “Руководство в подпольной борьбе“?   Ты зачем совершал преступления, Клеветал на наш Ленинский строй? Срать хотел я на вашего Ленина! Отвечал им герой молодой.
