This is the second episode of Time Out of Mind, the 1979 BBC2 series about science fiction. The featured author is John Brunner. I had to edit out a few parts that YouTube flagged as copyright. One was a clip from a dramatization of “The Last Lonely Man“ and the other was a video montage with some Eno music in the background.
