Making Monofilament and Glass Bead Eyes for Fly Tying

Learn how to make monofilament eyes for small flies, all the way up to large compound glass eyes for BIG nymphs like Dragonflies and Stoneflies. This technique uses melting monofilament and glass beads. It should only be done in well ventilated areas and not attempted while intoxicated or otherwise inhibited. Always wear eye protection when working with a flame and hot glass.
