We do so every year on the 5th and 6th of December with the so called “Perchtenlauf”. It’s an ancient tradition and has developed over the decades but the ideology remains the same. The name of this tradition most likely derives from the legend figure “Perchta”. Our group consists of 25 people: One “Hex“ (=witch), multiple “Läufer“ (=runners) and plenty of “Tamperer“ (=drummers) who are smashing on old car gas canisters.
