Around the Long Island

A circumnavigation around South Uist, also called the Long Island, by fatbike and packraft. Shipwrecks, underground caverns and soaring cliffs made this a spectacular and interesting journey. Endless beaches run down the west with the mightly atlantic crashing down. The east has the calmer minch waters and a coastline of skerrries and caves. With heaps of history in the land, the Uist Islands are an incredible place to explore.
