The film focuses on how to minimize police officer risks in the field, by emphasizing officer preparedness to shoot under a variety of conditions and at unexpected moments. The 35-minute film was directed by Dennis Anderson, who also created a companion film “Handling Firearms“. “Survival Shooting Techniques“ utilizes a combination of scripted reenactments and photographs to relay its message.
