Numbers in Action (Pусский) | Global Goals

This beautiful animation shows what the world could look like if we achieve some the Global Goals by 2030. It looks at a selection of global issues, from extreme poverty to gender equality, and tracks the progress that has been made from the start of the millennium. It then demonstrates how much further we still have to go by 2030 if the Goals are to be achieved. It is a stunning piece of data visualisation, soundtracked by legendary UK MC Wiley. In 2015, world leaders agreed to 17 Global Goals (officially known as the Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs). These goals have the power to create a better world by 2030, by ending poverty, fighting inequality and addressing the urgency of climate change. Guided by the Goals, it is now up to all of us, governments, businesses, civil society and the general public to work together to build a better future for everyone.
