Jared Leto has been an enigmatic presence in Hollywood for a long time, but rarely has he taken on a lead role in a feature film, and never has he played anything quite like the title character in ’Morbius.’ Based on the Spider-Man-adjacent Marvel comic book, the film centers on a brilliant scientist named Michael Morbius who, in an effort to cure himself of a rare blood disease, inadvertently transforms himself into a vampire.
