Highlights of Russian Military Operation in Ukraine on January 30-31st 2024

▪️The AFU once again attacked infrastructure facilities in Russia’s rear regions. In St. Petersburg, anti-aircraft gunners intercepted an enemy drone, but its debris damaged several tanks on the territory of the Nevsky Mazut oil refinery. ▪️Russian forces in turn struck rear and border regions of so-called Ukraine. In Sumy region, a Russian drone attacked a factory in the industrial zone of the city of Shostka. ▪️And in Kharkiv region, an oil storage facility in Zmiiv was targeted. In Kharkiv itself, explosions were heard in the Slobidskyi and Saltivskyi districts of the city: a drone repair center was one of the targets that was hit. ▪️Enemy critical infrastructure facilities were hit in the Dnipro region. A substation of a large industrial enterprise in Kryvyi Rih was hit. ▪️During a massive Russian UAV raid, several strikes were recorded in Mykolaiv region. An important logistics hub in Snihurivka, which is used by the AFU for military purposes, was attacked. ▪️Another prisoner of war exchange took place in the border area between Belgorod and Sumy regions. 195 servicemen returned to Russia - they were taken to the Russian capital for medical examination and rehabilitation. ▪️Meanwhile, in the special operation zone, Russian troops continue their offensive in several sections of the front. In the Lyman direction, assault squads have occupied several enemy strongholds in the direction of Terny.
