STAYING MOTIVATED Charles Amemiya Speaker, life/business coach, social responsibility advocate, and technical writer. I’m a speaker, life and business coach, and technical writer. I have a Master’s in Instructional Technologies and a certificate in Life & Work coaching. After serving a 2-year prison term, I learned my biggest life lesson: the worst prisons aren’t made out of concrete and steel. The worst prisons are the ones we create in our own minds. I’m now using the lessons I learned while escaping from my own mental prisons to help other people live their best lives. Thru coaching and speaking, I help people determine what they value the most, overcome their mental prisons, develop new perspectives, and create an exciting and authentic life. My most rewarding work is returning to prisons to help teach incarcerated men the skills they need to start their own businesses or get good jobs when they’re released.
