Мастер (Master): Part 2

I think this Russian ZX Spectrum clone may actually be working ... I’ve not had any luck with these simpler machines that utilise the Angstrem КА1515ХМ1-216 ULA, like the red Moldovan BYTEs. The Sun came out today so I was able to give the machine a clean. I’m currently trying to get the RGBS audio output via the 7-pin DIN working. I know that pin 2 is ground, and have managed to get an unstable image ... but I did briefly see the inverse-K cursor (indicating Spectrum BASIC keyword entry mode) ... a good sign! The ULA pin-out shows which pins output the R/G/B/S/Y signals and I did manage to trace them to one part of the board ... but then I get lost in a sea of resistors flipping the board back-and-forth trying to follow vias. I found a video showing an earlier model of the Master (I assume) - it had one of the ports labelled as “Floppy Disk“ (originally planned, blank on mine), it had a SECAM TV cable ... and a 5-pin (not 7-pin) DIN for RGBS output ... argggh (I left a comment ... at 9min 56s he shows a 5-pin RGBS pinout) Other videos about this machine: #ZXSpectrum #Мастер #РаспиновкаМастер5DIN
