How many Marines does it take to Kill a Camel Spider?

A Camel Spider decided to take up residence in a nook above the doorway of the mud hut that we were living in at the time in Afghanistan. This is how we solved the problem. If you watch closely at 1:24 you can see the spider fall out of the nook right into my sleeping bag. None of us noticed, we thought the thing had just vanished. I didn’t realize that it had landed in my sleeping bag until months later when I saw the video for the first time after we had already gotten back to the states.
