Chinese warship nearly hits American destroyer in Taiwan Strait during joint Canada-US mission

There is concern mounting Saturday after a Chinese warship was caught on Global News exclusive video coming within nearly 150 yards of the USS Chung-Hoon, a U.S. destroyer that was conducting a joint mission with Canada in the Taiwan Strait. A People’s Liberation Navy ship picked up considerable speed and cut in front of the bow of the Chung-Hoon, a maneuver HMCS Montreal’s commander, Capt.
