Blowing Snow with Old Scania - Blower with V8 Engine

Trying out this DIESEL V8 snow blower. First time in the snow! It’s Scania SBA 111 (TGB 30) with the big V8 snow blower Svedala Arbrå 77B The best snow blower I have ever driven! We got some snow, about feet deep I think. So we got the opportunity to try out this snowblower. TURN ON SUBTITLES IF YOU WANT SOME EXPLANATIONS IN VIDEO! Vehicle engine: 6-cylinder Scania D11 Power: 198 kW Meter reading: 1185km / 260h 1 steering wheel in driving direction 2 steering wheels in sling direction The cab on the sling are two standard 30/40 cabs welded together “back to back“ Length: 8450 mm Width: 2650 mm Total weight 13600 kg Snowblower: Svedala Arbrå Type: ROLBA 1500 S Drive engine: Scania DS14 (V8 with 14-liter displacement). The working width on snow thrower: 260 cm Last used: Used as a spare machine in 2017 at an airport It was Bofors who created the snow thrower 77 and was partly built at Kockums forest machine factory in Forsvik, Stensele. During the years 1977-79, a total of 80 snow throwers 77 / 77B were delivered to the defense. The cab on the sling are two standard 30/40 cabs welded together “back to back“. It has room for four people, the two people in the “back seat“ sit backward and have both steering wheel and pedals that are connected.
