The first Britain’s Got Talent live-semi final is over - and we have our first two finalists! Musa Motha and Amy Lou Smith have secured their spots in the grand finale on Sunday after impressing the judges and the viewers at home with their incredible performances on Monday night.
Musa Motha, a 27-year-old dancer who had one of his legs amputated due to cancer, won the public vote with his powerful and inspirational routine that moved everyone to tears. He was the first act in BGT history to receive a golden buzzer from all four judges in his audition, and he proved once again why he deserved it.
Amy Lou Smith, a 24-year-old singer and new mum, became the second finalist after winning the judge’s decision against comedy singing teacher Abi Carter-Simpson. She delivered a stunning rendition of ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’ from the musical ‘Dreamgirls’, earning a standing ovation from the panel.
Both acts fought off stiff competition from United 2 Dance, Gamal John, Ichikawa Koi
