An audience watches and applauds as a man pulls an alligator out of a small pool and wrestles with it. Man opens the mouth of the alligator to show his teeth then wrestles it to the ground. The alligator is tickled to knock him out although narrator observes that “mesmerism“ plays its part too. To bring the alligator back to life the man hits it on the nuzzle with a stick.
