Bach Two-Part Invention No. 1 - EMS Synthi - Moog Source

Bach Two-Part Invention No. 1, played on an EMS Synthi and Moog Source. The audio was recorded directly to 1/4“ tape (Revox PR99 at 15 IPS) and dubbed back into the video. The Synthi was played via a Yamaha MIDI controller, and a Paia 9700 MIDI-CV converter. The reverb is from an Alesis Midiverb II. Since the Synthi expects v/oct, but the Paia MIDI-CV converter output is 1 v/oct, I had to run the output of the Paia through a simple voltage divider circuit (not shown in the video) to convert it. #synth #bach #synthi #moog #synthesizer
