A Short Day at St Pierre

Wonderful, winter, weather for messing about on the water, January 2012. St Pierre Pill is the home to the Chepstow and District Yacht Club. The Pill (a Welsh term for a muddy creek) is situated on the Welsh side of the Severn Estuary in the UK. The Severn Estuary experiences the one of the largest tidal ranges in the world second only to the Bay of Fundy. The Pill is part of the Welsh Levels, which are a haven for wildlife, including Welsh Dragons.
