In this series of eight In Her Own Words, recorded in 1994, Loreena offers us extraordinary details about the explorations and insights that led to the songs on her hit album The Mask and Mirror. These tracks will premiere on YouTube and be available on all streaming services June 14 with the release of The Mask and Mirror Live a recording captured live at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco on May 19th 1994. All this is in celebration of the 30th anniversary of what was, at the time, Loreena’s just-released fifth studio album, The Mask and Mirror, a recording that was celebrated by fans and critics alike for its trail-blazing intermingling of Celtic, Spanish and Moroccan influences.
