The Manhattan Transfer live at the North Sea Jazz Festival • 11-07-1987 • World of Jazz

In this full live concert, the American jazz vocal group The Manhattan Transfer perform an extensive collection of their repertoire. With their unique blend of voices, the sublime Janis Siegel, Cheryl Bentyne, Alan Paul and Tim Hauser bring the audience to their feet in the The Haque Congress Building at the Netherlands’ North Sea Jazz Festival 1987. The concert features many of their well known songs of the nine albums they had released untill 1987. They did songs from ‘Vocalese’, their most recent album at the time, as well as favourites from their earlier albums.
