The bell of Canino is the oldest survivng church bell made from cast bronze. It is now in the Vatican museums, but its state does not allow it to be rung.
Dr. Bastian Asmus in cooperation with the Campus Galli open air museum in Messkirch, Germany, ran a series of experiments to recreate the oldest bronze founding method to make a such a bell.
