Justin Trudeau speaks on Canadians detained in China, combating online hate

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held a press conference Thursday following his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, France. The meeting follows an his announcement earlier in the day that the federal government says it will launch a new digital charter that will dictate how the country will combat hate speech, misinformation and online electoral interference in Canada. Trudeau met with New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern earlier in the day and held a working lunch with French President Emmanuel Macron.
