The Seven Ups are a 8-piece Afro/Funk band from Melbourne, Australia. The Seven Ups take the undeniable influence of Fela’s Afrobeat and the music that came out of 1970s Nigeria, blend it with deep-funk and the occasional Ethio-Jazz and Rock element, to create a unique groovin sound that could have only come out of Melbourne.
