Billie Eilish Responds To People Body Shaming Her... Billie Eilish gained media interactment when she first stepped on the scene releasing music, people loved it, eating up everything that she put out, now she’s in the media for a different reason…. When a photo of Billie was uploaded to her instagram of her not sporting her trademark oversized people were quick to comment, a handful of comments were discussing how “provactive” they found her clothing, or lack thereof, to be. Others were just trolls who went online and made jokes and fired insults about her weight, on both sides of the commenting Billie made it clear that she wasn’t there for their input. Billie started by putting it out there that the only reason she actually wore the oversized clothes is due to the issues she had with her body image, but even after her self love improved she found that she had taken a liking to the clothing and continued to rock the clothing. This is one of the things Eilish herself had to say on the subject, “Some people hate what I wear, some people praise it,“ she said. “Some people use it to shame others, some people use it to shame me. But I feel you watching, always. And nothing I do goes unseen. If I wear what is comfortable, I am not a woman. If I shed the layers, I’m a slut. Though you’ve never seen my body, you still judge it and judge me for it ... Would you like me to be smaller? Weaker? Softer? Taller? Would you like me to be quiet? Do my shoulders provoke you?” Many of her fans came to her aid, showing support of their idol in many different ways, one twitter user posted a picture of Eilish standing next to the awards and winking at the camera, the caption above read, “BILLIE EILISH WALKING NEXT TO HER AWARDS AND WINKING AT THE TASTELESS HATERS WE LOVE TO SEE A CONFIDENT QUEEN” another use posted a meme commenting on people who have nothing to do with Eilish in the slightest commenting on her clothing choices, one user not only came to the aid of the singer but also found herself finding comfort in Eilish’s comfort in a tweet reading, “i was today years old when i learned that i had literally the same body and body type as billie eilish and mind you, i have never seen that much resemblance in a celeb before and honestly i was like woah.
