MANNEQUIN - Desperate Situation (1981)

Music from the Barren Wasteland: Mannequin were a San Antonio, Texas post-punk band formed in the mid 1970s. They released a handful of 7“ singles on their own Closet Records label. Desperate Situation was recorded in1981 at Earth and Sky studio, Austin, Texas. The Mannequin LP “Wait No Longer“ (recorded in 1981) was finally released on Closet Records in 2013. Some members went on to form Red Square in 1984.
