Animal rights protesters disrupt ITV annual meeting over I’m a Celebrity

Animal rights activists disrupted ITV’s annual meeting to protest against what they said was “the animal abuse the broadcast network considers entertainment on I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!.“ Peta protesters wearing frog masks held up a banner reading “ITV: It’s cruelty to animals... get it out of I’m a Celeb.“ The group said activists told board members and shareholders “using frogs, insects, ostriches, crocodiles, rats, and other animals in tacky stunts is cruelty, not entertainment.“ The Independent has contacted ITV for comment.
