Selected originals (offcuts, selected scenes, out-takes, rushes) for story “News Flashes - Police Drill“ 53/51. Material found in selected originals differs from material used in newsreel story. Driving scenes are longer and although most of the scenes were seen in the newsreel story, the new scenes are interesting watch. Driving seems even more dangerous which makes it almost impossible to view the men in uniforms as serious police officers. Another interesting point is that this is a sound footage. Narration is different from the one in newsreel story. Voice in the newsreel story has English accent. Voice in the selected originals has an American accent. Material starts and ends abruptly.
