Screen siren Sharon Tate stars here in the film version of author Jacqueline Susann’s scandalous 1966 novel alongside Hollywood veterans Susan Hayward (who replaced Judy Garland), Lee Grant and Patty Duke as well as TV’s ’Bad Girl’ Peyton Place star Barbara Parkins. Sharon stars as exploited sex siren Jennifier North and gives such a fine performance that she went on to be nominated for a Golden Globe for ’Best Newcomer’ and garnered better reviews for this film than her more established (and equally wonderful) co-stars. Camp and trashy the film may be, but with Sharon, Susan Hayward, Lee Grant, Barbara Parkins, Patty Duke, Martin Milner, Alexander Davion and Tony Scotti you can’t go wrong! Enjoy.
