Performance “No exit“ Sartre (Director Victoria Klipova)
’No Exit’ is a philosophical play by Jean-Paul Sartre that reflects on choice and the burden of responsibility, on what defines our self-understanding: the opinions of others or our own feelings.
We encounter the characters – journalist Garcin, aristocrat Estelle, and postal worker Ines – in a mysterious room. What binds them? How did they end up in this room? And why is the only door locked?
As the string of incompleteness dissipates over time, it does not become easier, as we immerse ourselves in a world of psychological thriller where the line between good and evil, life and death blurs.
An international team led by director Victoria Klipova, who has implemented more than 20 projects in 4 countries, acclaimed at festivals in Canada, England, and Russia, will boldly and candidly address philosophical, geopolitical, and psychological issues in the theatrical production of No Exit.’
