𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝟯 is the third installment in the Silent Hill survival horror series. It is the second game to be released on the PC and PlayStation 2, and unlike Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 4: The Room, it was never ported to the original Xbox. The game was developed by Team Silent and published by Konami, and it launched in North America on August 6, 2003. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 1️⃣ Install 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝟯: 2️⃣ Once installed, go to the desktop, right click on the game shortcut and open the game directory folder. 3️⃣ Download 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝟯 - 𝗪𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝘅 and extract its contents. 4️⃣ Move 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘀 and 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗽𝘂𝘁𝟴.𝗱𝗹𝗹 to the game directory. 5️⃣ Open 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗹𝟯.𝗪𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗙𝗶𝘅.𝗶𝗻𝗶 (inside scripts folder) and set these options: [MAIN] ResX = 0 ResY = 0 RenderResX = 1920 RenderResY = 1080 FixMenu = 1 FixFMV = 1 [MISC] FMVWidescreenMode = 2 // FMV letterboxing will be cropped to fill the screen. Use “FMVWidescreenMode = 2“ if you have widescreen FMVs from HD collection. DisableCutsceneBorders = 1 // Removes cutscene letterboxing. DisableSafeMode = 1 // Prevents the game from using default settings after closing the game. PixelationFix = 1 // Subtracts 0.5 from render resolution to fix transition bug. StatusScreenRes = 512 // Controls resolution of status screen image. ShadowsRes = 1024 // Controls resolution of dynamic shadows. DOFRes = 1024 // Controls resolution of depth of field and other blur effects. FrameRateFluctuationFix = 2 // Prevents the framerate from jumping between 60 FPS and 30 FPS. (1 = 60 FPS | 2 = 30 FPS) ReduceCutsceneFOV = 0 // Cutscenes will use vert- scaling to hide off-screen characters. SH2Reference = 1 // Enables several SH2 references for new saves.
