Desperate to feel different and to find a real human connection in a world consumed by social networks and mass advertising, the man embarks on a journey through rooms representing different milestones in his life. This was a brand new, live 30 minute performance by Gecko created specially for Live From Television Centre; in which 5 UK based theatre companies and makers were selected to showcase their work. The 5 performances were all filmed at the iconic Television Centre complex. A Gecko and Battersea Arts Centre co-production in collaboration with BBC Arts. Funded by Arts Council England. ABOUT GECKO... Gecko is an award-winning and internationally-acclaimed physical theatre company based in Ipswich, Suffolk and led by Artistic Director Amit Lahav. A Gecko show is visual, visceral, ambitious theatre crafted to inspire, move and entertain. Gecko strives to make their work wide open to interpretation and put their audience at the heart of the narrative. With an expanding ensemble of international performers and makers, Gecko works across diverse age groups, nationalities and forms. The company tours nationally and internationally and continues to develop strong partnerships around the world.
